A self promotional piece for my portfolio page. I wanted a different way to show the variety of skills I can offer so after the initial concept (thank you Mr. Adams), I designed the labels, package design and did a photo shoot for the final piece.

Fun little 3D project to enhance the original lines & curves of the car. Many car manufacturers re-launch newer versions of older cars that really don’t maintain the original aesthetic feel that made them great. That is something I wanted to avoid doing with this project. Despite the reputation, this car has a great little body design and I believe this car to be a great little 'hot-hatch' from the 80’s (no pun intended).

I wanted to make a supporting piece for my portfolio page based on the icon characters that were created for the home page that represented the 4 major disciplines of design-work that I am capable of doing. Labels were made for each icon, printed and applied onto the bottles for a photo-shoot to create a final project.

He wanted a series of posters that were based on a small checklist of things he felt would further enhance the mindset of students as they nearing graduation and to better orient them for successful placement in their field of study. This is a project that started as an idea for students to learn some photo manipulation using Photoshop. I spent the day capturing photos from various places around Longwood Gardens. I needed to make sure that things like lighting, angle, focal length and exposures were consistent to allow for a more fluid process in the making of this project.

Although I am not much of a fan of Ferrari’s, I felt compelled to model this particular car… specifically because of the wire rims. I enjoyed the way they were designed and believed it would be a good challenge to create them. I could have just done the tires but went ahead and setup for the creation of the entire model.

A poster series that was part of a larger scale overhaul for the campus in terms of identity, professionalism and consistency. Tasked by the V.P. of the company to create a new system of campus-level marketing, this poster series was derived from the Professional Development course that I instructed. Stock photos were used. An end-result project from an instructional video series on how do a five-minute retouch. This was part of a series of retouch videos that included a quick 5 minute retouch, a 15 minute retouch and a 30 minute retouch. I felt it important to illustrate a variety or processes and skill-sets for their toolbox so they can handle different situations.

Responsive website design that was developed as an instructional resource for my students as I was teaching them responsive web design. In this project, students learned how to convert a fixed grid into a fluid grid (I made them do the math) and to introduce media queries for better control of the site layout for different devices. A self-promotional piece created for my site. This car is a metaphor for how I approach design and has been since I was introduced to Formula 1® in the late 90's. I originally created the car in Rhino 3D and used Cararra Studio (successor to RayDream Studio) back in 2001. I decided to apply my skills learned over the years and re-build the model more efficiently.
